We have been operating a bulk liquid storage facility in United Kingdom since 2004. Committed to continuous growth and development throughout our history, the company’s facility is now recognised as a nationally significant oil, fuel and bulk liquid import and storage facility, with a total tank capacity of 300,000 cubic metres.
For years, this strategically located facility has been importing, handling, storing and delivering a range of bulk liquid products for its customers safely and securely. Indeed, throughout our long history Oil and Storage Services Limited has built an exemplary track record in health, safety and environmental practices.
Today, Oil and Storage Services Limited primarily stores and distributes refined petroleum products and and petrochemicals and offers the benefits of year of experience in bulk liquid storage and handling. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, our terminals is one of the most technologically advanced storage facilities in Europe and the only independent facility connected to the national fuel distribution pipeline networks.
Occupying a prime location, the terminal benefits from good access to national road networks, shipping routes and the UK’s key fuel distribution pipelines. This enables Oil and Storage Services Limited to supply vital water, road and aviation fuels to industry and national airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted airports, and other storage facilities across the country. The facility also connects the UK to the European fuel supply distribution networks through links to the Antwerp-Rotterdam-Amsterdam region and also receives product from other international ports.
As we look to the future, We remain dedicated to maintaining the highest standards across all our business activities, whilst continuing to meet the changing needs of our customers and the needs of the community in which we operate. Ongoing investment at our site on the River Thames is helping to future-proof customer fuel supply. This includes improved interconnectivity between different parts of the site and a deep-water jetty extension to cater for LR2 vessels up to 120,000 tonnes deadweight, as well as investment in new lighting, security and safety features.
In 2019, We began a new chapter in our long history.
